4 weeks free

Try conni free for 4 weeks

See for yourself: we provide a fully functional test box with a Datafox terminal and transponders, connected to your software.

A quick word on availability

What you send through this page is a request, not an order. Our test units are in demand and not always available straight away. After your request we'll get back to you with a firm date, so you can plan with confidence.

How your test works

Four steps from your request to sending the box back.

  1. 1

    Request a test box

You fill in the form: which software you use, whether you want to connect via LAN or WLAN and which modules you're interested in. Just tell us your preferred period for the test.

  2. 2

    We review your request

We check whether a test unit is free in your preferred period. If it doesn't work out, we'll come back with alternative dates. After that the box arrives preconfigured.

  3. 3

Test the system for 4 weeks

From delivery you test free for 4 weeks with real bookings: you can see whether the times land correctly in your software. If anything is unclear, we'll help you out.

  4. 4

    Send the test box back

After the test the box goes back.* We'll sort out the return with you, depending on where we delivered to.

* The test box is a loan unit and stays in our pool, so others can try it out too.

What's in the test box

Everything you need for a realistic test, in one package.

  • One Datafox terminal

Either the EVO 3.5 Pure or the EVO 5.0 Pure, fully configured. Which of the two you get depends on the test unit that happens to be free.

  • 10 transponders

10 transponders come with the box, matched to the terminal inside it. That is enough for a whole team, so you can run through a realistic working day.

  • Power supply and network connection

Power comes from a mains adapter, EU Schuko plug as standard. With your request you choose between LAN and WLAN, and we set the test unit up accordingly, subject to availability.

  • Plug & play

The terminal is already configured when it arrives. All you provide is power and an internet connection. For teaching in the transponders, the knowledge base has a step-by-step guide. If you have questions we're happy to help, in a setup appointment too if you like.

Unlock modules for the test phase

On request we also unlock modules for your test, for example the traffic light or automatic clock-out. That way you see straight away how conni behaves with the features you will actually need. Just tell us which modules you're interested in when you send your request.

Transparent: free first, then weekly

The first 4 weeks from delivery are free. If that isn't long enough, we extend the test phase: 50 euros apply for each started week after that.

  • 4 weeks from delivery: 0 euros
  • Extension: 50 euros per started week, you can stop any time
  • No setup fee

To extend, just send us a short message at support@ananas.codes

The test box itself always stays a loan unit.

Shipping and customs

Within Germany, shipping is free for you, in both directions. If the test box goes abroad, a fixed flat rate applies for the outbound leg, and you cover the return shipment yourself. Any customs charges are paid by the recipient.

  • Within Germany: free of charge, both ways
  • Within the EU: 49 euros flat shipping rate, return shipment at your own cost
  • Outside the EU: 99 euros flat shipping rate plus customs charges, return shipment at your own cost

Within Germany the return shipment is free of charge: just get in touch and we will create the return label for you. From abroad you organise and pay for the return shipment yourself; we are happy to sort out the route with you there too.

Frequently asked questions about the test box

What does the test box cost?

Nothing for the first 4 weeks from delivery. If you want to test for longer, it is 50 euros per started week. There is no setup fee.

Which terminal do I get?

The test box contains either the EVO 3.5 Pure or the EVO 5.0 Pure, each with matching transponders. You cannot pick the model, you get whichever test unit is free. For permanent operation, all five models are available to you afterwards.

Are there shipping costs?

Within Germany shipping is free of charge and we create the return label on request. Within the EU it is 49 euros flat, outside the EU 99 euros plus customs charges. For destinations abroad you also organise and pay for the return shipment yourself.

Can I test modules as well?

Yes. On request we unlock modules for the test phase, for example the traffic light or automatic clock-out. Which modules your software supports depends on its API, and we clarify that with you beforehand.

Does the test box work with my software?

conni connects Datafox terminals with common time-tracking and HR software, for example Personio, Papershift or HiBob. Tell us which system you use when you request the box and we'll configure it to match. If your software isn't among them yet, get in touch anyway: we'll look at its API and tell you whether a connection is possible.

What do you need from me?

The software you use, your preferred test period and the API credentials for your software. You send the credentials to us encrypted via our onboarding platform. Without them the terminal cannot connect to your system.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. The terminal arrives preconfigured, you just connect power and network. All we need from you are the API credentials for your software: you look them up in your software account and send them to us encrypted via our onboarding platform. Entering them and connecting everything is our job, and from then on the terminal works with your software account. Where to find the credentials in your account is shown step by step in the knowledge base, separately for each supported software.

How quickly will the test box arrive?

That depends on availability. We only have a limited number of test units. If one is free, the box goes out within a few working days. If they are all out on loan, it can take several weeks. Should there be a delay, we'll let you know.

Do I have to send the test box back?

Yes, always. The test box is a loan unit for checking the data transfer and does not stay with you, for warranty reasons. After the test the terminal and transponders come back to us, and you can then order your own set if you need one.

Try it first, then decide.

We ship the test box preconfigured, you clock in for 4 weeks just like in real operation.
